The 5km polar bear race was an exhilarating challenge, with icy trails and crisp air pushing my endurance to the limit. The stunning snowy scenery made every step unforgettable, though the freezing conditions demanded serious preparation. Highly recommended for thrill-seekers. Also love the 10km option this year on top of the 5km traditional run, if you so desire.

The polar bear run fundraiser was an amazing event! It was well organized with lots of supporting volunteers ready to cheer everyone on! It was rad to see everyone come together and help support a good cause. Can’t wait to see you all this year being rooted and radical! 🔥

Grace’s Mission Immersion Program (MIP) is a youth development program that strives to provide local youth with an increased sense of purpose, as they support communities around the world. MIP is an intensive, six month youth program that teaches teens the importance of becoming global thinkers. Their training prepares them for much of what they will experience as they travel to serve in distant communities. Our mission is to stir a greater sense of purpose & hope in not only in the hearts of youth here in Center Wellington but also in hearts of the youth they will be supporting, globally!

In March of 2024, MIP went to Boquete, Panama to partner with the Ngäbe people, an Indigenous tribe in the western part of the country. The Ngäbe are a hard working people who have built their communities in mountains of western Panama & Costa Rica. Unfortunately, the logistics around living in the mountains of Central America has lead to an increase in poverty and, in many cases, severe malnutrition. To support the Ngäbe peoples, MIP Panama ran a week long kids camp and assisted in a food distribution program.
